Founded in 1987 by Dave Perfect, D. Perfect and Sons has grown from one Bedford truck into a respected, family-run haulage company with a 20-strong Volvo fleet and 40 specialist trailers. Built on loyalty, integrity and hands-on management, the company remains proudly independent and fully in control of every job it takes on.
From One Truck to a Trusted Fleet
Dave started the business in 1987 as a sole trader, running container work across the South East with a single rigid Bedford. By 1991, the company became limited, and D. Perfect and Sons Ltd was born. From early days in Upminster, Barking, and Dagenham Dock, the company expanded into Purfleet Industrial Park and now operates from a secure depot in West Thurrock.
Over the years, the fleet has evolved from classic F88s and F10s to today’s modern Volvo FH13s, each maintained in-house by our own mechanics to guarantee reliability and safety.
