Committed to Safety, Compliance and Security
At D. Perfect and Sons, safety isn’t an afterthought it’s built into every part of our operation. From ADR compliance to yard security, we maintain strict standards to protect our people, customers, and cargo.
Fully ADR Certified
The majority our drivers hold current ADR certification and receive ongoing anti-terrorism and emergency procedure training. Every vehicle is equipped for the carriage of hazardous cargo in compliance with national and international standards. The drivers are certified for both tanks and packages enabling us to move anything between a single carton and 30,000 litres in bulk. We can cover all classes of Hazardous goods with the exception of Class 7 radio active. We specialise in the carriage of Class 1 explosive goods from bullets, missiles and detonators to fireworks which are all carried by our fleet on a regular basis.
Security You Can Trust
Our West Thurrock depot features a gated compound with CCTV, facial recognition systems, and restricted access. We’ve had decades of incident-free operation with zero cargo thefts.
GDP Haulage of Pharmaceutical Products
We have drivers who are qualified to move High value/high security pharmaceutical products under chilled/frozen status.
Haulage of waste products.
We have a waste carriers licence for general waste but also a special licence enabling us to carry animal waste.
Maintenance and MOT Assurance
Our Fleet (60 trucks/trailers)has maintained a 100% MOT pass rate in 2025 and we intend to keep it at that level. Every vehicle is checked, tested, repaired and documented using our Volvo main dealer and our in-house brake testing lane and inspection pit. These facilities mean our equipment is kept in tip top condition which resulted in zero roadside breakdowns in 2025 thereby giving our customers a guarantee of service we are proud of.
Section 5 and Hazardous Cargo Control
As a compliment to our Class 1 explosive work D.Perfect & Sons Ltd are fully licensed for Section 5 transport. This gives us the ability to move military grade explosives and arms-related cargo as well as other targeted hazardous goods safely under Home Office guidelines throughout the country. We have to show complete control procedures and staff training to comply with Section 5 regulations as well as having our vehicles upgraded to EX11 to be able to carry explosives.
