HGV Driver – Based in West Thurrock, Essex

Accommodation available if required.

Occasional nights out, unless tramping is preferred.

We are a small family business that treats our staff like part of the family. You will be an important cog in the machine, not just a number.

We have accommodation, showers, a kitchen, washing machines and tumble dryers on site for all staff to use.

Modern Volvo FH fleet, with your own dedicated truck.

Minimum take-home pay of £800 per week (after tax) based on a five-day week. Some of our drivers regularly take home £900+ per week on trailer work, with our Class 1 ADR drivers earning even more.

The work is varied and includes trailer and container operations. We also run tippers, side loaders, low loaders and tank chassis, meaning no two weeks are quite the same.

ADR qualification is preferred but not essential.

• Valid HGV Class 1 (Category CE) Licence with a maximum of 6 points with min 1 year driving experience.
• Proven experience in commercial driving & knowledge of tachograph laws
• Strong driving skills with a focus on safety and fuel efficiency
• Experience as a delivery driver, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries
• Familiarity with flatbed / curtainsider trailers and handling and securing various cargo types is helpful
• Proficient in English for effective communication and documentation
